BESOAIN/Lafken are high quality Chilean wines, from selected and unique vineyards. Focusing on each terroir, we know the soil, the climate and we work with the people who give life to the vineyard. Our goal is to ensure that the harvest results in a wine that express its unique aromas and flavors.

BESOAIN/Lafken are limited editions from vineyards chosen by us. Handpicked grapes become BESOAIN/Lafken wines, each bottle is the purest expression of the strain and its terroir for that particular vintage.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Los Morros, Maipo Valley, Chile
Color: Deep ruby red.
Nose: Dry figs, blackcurrants and peaches.
Palate: Rich and ripe fruits, cassis and vanilla hints, well integrated tannins.
The 27 years old vineyard grows on a terrace beside the Maipo river, hand-picked harvest. There is a manual selection of grapes in the vineyard and then at the cellar.
The alcoholic fermentation is carried in small stainless-steel tanks.
The malolactic fermentation is made in French barrels. The wine ages during 12 months in second use barrels, in order to make a fruiter and livelier wine.

Carménère

Carménère 2020
Los Morros, Maipo Valley, Chile
Color: Intense and deep ruby.
Nose: Rosehip, white plum, peach, lychee and a hint of chocolate.
Palate: Fine and soft tannins, nice acidity and wide taste, strawberries and raspberries.
The vineyard is 14 years old and its vines are at their optimal qualitative performance.
100% hand-picked harvest. There is a manual selection of grapes in the vineyard and then at the cellar.
The alcoholic fermentation is carried in small stainless-steel tanks.
The malolactic fermentation is made in French barrels. The wine ages during 12 months in second use barrels, in order to make a fruiter and livelier wine.

PINOT NOIR

Pinot Noir 2018
Lo Ovalle, Casablanca Valley, Chile
Color: brilliant light cherry.
Nose: Cranberries, strawberry jam, light clove.
Palate: Well balanced, candied orange, chocolate, rounded tannins, fresh at the end.
18 years old vineyards. 100% hand-picked harvest. There is a manual selection of grapes in the vineyard and then at the cellar.
The alcoholic fermentation is carried in small stainless-steel tanks.
The malolactic fermentation is made in French oak barrels around 10 months.

RIESLING

Riesling 2020
San Antonio, Leyda Valley, Chile
Color: green pale and brilliant.
Nose: Intense and clean, apricots, lemon blossom.
Palate: Pineapple, acacia honey, vivid acidity.
20 years old vineyards. 100% hand-picked harvest. There is a manual selection of grapes in the vineyard and then at the cellar.
Closed pneumatic pressing. The alcoholic fermentation is carried in small stainless-steel tank. Temperature controlled fermentation and fine yeast contact.

Gewürztraminer

Gewürztraminer 2019
Litueche, Colchagua Costa Valley, Chile
Color: Clean gold yellow.
Nose: Chamomile, following with some scents of roses and dry grapes.
Palate: it enters silky with a sweet taste and a moderate acidity, mango, banana and honey.
14 years old vineyards. 100% hand-picked harvest. There is a manual selection of grapes in the vineyard and then at the cellar.
Closed pneumatic pressing. The alcoholic fermentation is carried in small stainless-steel tank. Temperature controlled fermentation and fine yeast contact.
